Find a Therapist or Group in Our Online Directories

Admitting we need help and reaching out is often the hardest part. It’s cliche, but boy is it true! Especially when we’ve been told our whole lives to fix our own problems and be strong for others.

The truth is that we all need support. Yes, you too. And we’re here for you. Check out our list of therapists and groups, and feel free to send us a question is you have any.

Fellow Therapist Looking for Connection & Support?

The Collective’s goals for its therapist members are two-fold. First, provide the professional development and life-long learning that’s a requirement of our trade. Second, create a personal space for the connection, processing, and self work that we all need. Things that aren’t only important for our clients, but us too!

There are too few programs and resources for therapists working in Men’s Mental Health. We aim to fill this gap.

Exploring Better Questions & Possible Answers Together

Life’s difficult, and yet we still try to convince ourselves we have to go it alone or somehow already have all the answers.

While our therapists are still figuring out this whole life thing too, we’ve also collectively worked with hundreds of men over ten’s of thousands of sessions, are trained in a dozen therapeutic modalities, and have survived as broad a range of life experiences as you might find.

Wading through the misinformation of the Manosphere?

Let’s be real - when it comes to men’s mental health, there’s a lot of garbage out there. The internet is full of misinformation.

At the MMH Therapist Collective, we know that smug judgment only makes things worse. Instead, we believe that where society is now comes from generations of men who are struggling, and struggling more and more each year. And that many institutions, especially on the left, have dropped the ball in recognizing and being there for guys who need it. We believe in abundant justice, that ending the cycle of hurt people hurting people first requires empathy and patience, it requires healing the hurt.

In our writing and organizing, we hope to help dent the conversation. Feel free reach out if you’d like to be a part of a better conversation on men and men’s mental health.
